There's Hope!

Apparently there is hope that Irene's doctor will return next week and we will be able to have the medical letters re-done Monday. Of course, once they are signed and notarized, we will send them off to our agency for review. If they do not meet requirements, we may need to do them again. Although this is can be very frustrating, we are actually very, very thankful that For This Child is as picky as they are about the documents. This will most likely save us from having complications during the actual adoption process in Guatemala. The Guatemalan agencies that review the cases are notoriously particular and it is, unfortunately, not uncommon to be "kicked out" of a particular stage of the process due to paperwork errors. A simple typographical error can delay your adoption several weeks! It seems like a pain now, but we will definitely appreciate it later. Besides, our darling Isabella isn't even born yet...

Bella,

I went shopping with Gamma today at the mall and saw some of the cutest things at a boutique for babies. We saw a beautiful, small chandelier to hang in your room and so many outfits and headbands! Gamma and I can't wait until you are born so we can really start shopping for you! Keep growing healthy and strong, baby girl!

Love, Mommy
