A wonderful week

The last week has just flown by! Greg and Irene arrived a week ago, after a grueling 24 hour trip. They were both wiped out (and kinda smelly) but it was still a fantastic family reunion. After some hugs and kisses all around, and some general marvelling at how each of our girls has grown, we shared our first meal together as a family. After all of this time living apart, each parent with one child, it was incredible to have our entire family in one house. There was lots of weeping, and most of it out of joy. Still, the five days we had together as a family flew by. We did some shopping (for those things on the "must get before I leave" list), ate at a couple of my favorite restaurants, and spent the last day at the pool. Irene and Bella became istant buddies, which provided me with a much needed break and allowed Greg and I quite a bit of time together. We even left the girls at home one night and went out on a date! Can I just say how AMAZING it feels to be held by your husband?!

Irene is staying with me for the summer, which will give she and I some much needed time together. Being a teenager is hard enough, but it is especially hard without your mom. So, we'll be working on re-building our relationship.... BLAH! Does anyone have an instruction guide on teenagers???

We're still waiting for news of our paperwork. We're supposed to hear something this week. To make a VERY long story very short, if what we hear this week is not positive, we may have to start over completely with resolving this previo. Please remember us in your prayers this week.
